Missed Wingstop’s Wing Pass? KFC Has a Deal for You
Free chicken wings can be yours, football fans.

Earlier this month, Wingstop released a Wing Pass entitling the holder to 18 watch party bundles of wings for the price of one. Unfortunately, only 100 passes were available, meaning nearly all of us missed out on snagging one. But here's some good news: KFC is responding to that hard-to-get deal on chicken wings with one of its own — and this one is far more accessible.
“No limited spots. No being one of the lucky 100,” the brand promises.
What wing deal is KFC offering this football season?
The fried chicken chain is offering football fans and wing lovers a free 10-piece bucket of Double Crispy Hot Wings, along with two sauces, “to add to their game-day spread.”
Available at participating locations through September 21, the deal can be claimed by anyone placing a digital order of $15 or more (excluding taxes, tips and fees) through a KFC Rewards account on KFC.com or the KFC app.
What's the thinking behind KFC's football-season wing deal?
For many fans, football and wings are inextricably linked. KFC cites research from the restaurant management software firm Toast indicating that wings are the most popular game-day food in cities with NFL teams and that chicken wing orders surge by 25% on Sundays during football season compared to off-season Sundays.
Does KFC’s wing deal have any fine print you should know about?
The deal is non-transferrable and can’t be combined with other offers. And, alas, you can claim only one deal per account — so choose your free-wing game day carefully.
