This Gadget Practically Makes Guacamole for You
You're going to reach for this easy-pull food processor all summer!
A delicious guacamole recipe is rather simple: perfectly ripe avocados, onion, tomato, jalapenos, cilantro and some salt. If you find yourself chopping up the ingredients for this iconic dip regularly (or, any vegetables for that matter), you might find the process of preparation tedious but necessary to ensure the right texture for your guac. We thought hand-chopping was essential to the process, too — until we discovered Zyliss Easy Chopper.
Simply place each ingredient into the chopper — seriously, you don’t need to worry about dicing beforehand — and pull the lever to mix and chop. Since it’s a manual mixer, you can control how fast you mix and how much you chop, which means your preference of either smooth or chunky guac is easily attainable. When testing out this product, we started our dip out with a combination of onions, tomato, jalanpeno and cilantro, which made a delicious salsa in a breeze. Next, we added in a few avocados to make a quick and delicious guac.

Making your own guacamole is easy enough that you should be skipping store-bought anyway. But, this gadget makes it nearly impossible to choose store-bought now. To make life easier, add a few more products that make every step from cutting out your avocado halves to storing your precious guacamole easier. We especially recommend the OXO Good Grip Avocado Slicer and this air-tight storage container by Prepworks.
Never worry about ingredients for your next homemade salsa or guacamole taking up valuable chopping board space and prep time again. Throw everything in the easy chopper — all you'll have to worry about is making enough (even if it’s just for you!).
