Warm and Cheesy Onion Dip

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  2. In a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, combine the cream cheese, mayonnaise, onions, Parmesan, jalapeno, pepper and the 2 tablespoons chives. Beat on medium speed until combined. (Alternatively, combine the ingredients in a medium bowl and stir until combined.)
  3. Transfer the dip to a 9- or 10-inch pie plate or square baking dish, smoothing it into an even layer.
  4. Bake the dip until it is dark golden brown on top and bubbly, about 25 minutes.
  5. Remove the dip from the oven, let cool slightly, then garnish with the remaining chives and serve with toasts or veggies for dipping.
