The Best Fourth of July Appetizer Recipes
We look forward to our annual Fourth of July cookout all year long. It’s a day full of family and friends, grilling, cocktails and all things red, white and blue. Since it’s one of the biggest get-togethers of the season we have a tendency to go all out, planning a menu that will keep everyone happily snacking until the big fireworks display. The easiest way to do that? Start your afternoon with a selection of ooh- and aah-inspiring appetizers, like these ones. You’ll find delicious takes on caprese salad, crowd-pleasing dips, deviled eggs and more — but no summer party is complete without at least one type of bruschetta. We love including these gorgeous toasts because they’re surprisingly simple to make (and every bit as delicious as they look). The strawberries are a nice addition to in-season tomatoes, playing up the sweet-and-savory flavor profile. Simply spoon over freshly grilled bread and serve.
