Kristie Collado

Kristie Collado is a food writer, scratch baker and firm believer that bread is the best carb. A graduate of the International Culinary Center, she worked in the pastry kitchen at the iconic 21 Club before completing a Master’s Degree in Food Studies at NYU. You’ll find her work online on Food Network, Delish and The Daily Meal and in print in Oxford University Press’s Savoring Gotham. Unable to resist silly wordplay (especially where food is involved), she spends her free time doodling — turning food puns into hand-drawn notecards and t-shirts.
