  1. Chill 8 beer glasses in the freezer, 10 minutes.
  2. Scoop ice cream into each glass, alternating flavors. Fill each glass to the rim with black cherry soda. Generously top each float with whipped cream, garnish with a cherry if using and serve immediately.
