When it comes to crowd-pleasing party dishes, you truly can’t beat candied bacon. It’s sweet, smoky, chewy and, most importantly, it’s bacon. We’ve chosen to sprinkle ours with everything bagel seasoning, but don’t be afraid to experiment with whatever seasoning you prefer. For an extra bite, coat the bacon in coarsely ground peppercorns, or for a bit of extra crunch, try roughly chopped nuts.

Directions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Line 2 rimmed baking sheets with parchment.
Spread the brown sugar on a large plate or baking dish. Separate the bacon into strips and blot each dry. Press both sides of each bacon strip into the sugar, then transfer to the prepared baking sheets. Sprinkle with any remaining sugar.
Bake until the bacon is golden and glazed, 25 to 30 minutes. It will still be pliable.
Sprinkle the bacon with the bagel seasoning on both sides. Transfer to a rack-lined baking sheet and let cool fully. The bacon will harden but won't be super crispy.
Cook’s Note
Cooking times will vary based on the thickness of the bacon, so keep an eye on it towards the end of baking to ensure it doesn’t burn.
