Lynn's Buttermilk Pie

3 3/4 cup sugar

1/3 cup flour

1 teaspoon salt

1 stick butter, melted

1 cup buttermilk

1 tablespoon of your favorite flavoring (I usually use Mexican vanilla or lemon flavoring.)

6 eggs, lightly beaten


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Mix all ingredients well and pour into two deep dish single pie crusts.
  3. Bake until center is golden brown and firmly set (usually about one hour and 20 minutes).
