Homemade flatbread is a versatile base for your favorite flavors and makes great pizza bases or wraps. Ree has opted for garlic and chives, but you can experiment with whatever takes your fancy–spices, herbs and cheese all work well.

Directions
Melt the butter in a small pot until it is bubbling. Add the garlic and chives. Remove from the heat and set aside.
In a large bowl, mix the yogurt, 1/4 cup water and 1/2 cup of the garlic butter. Add the flour and fold until combined. Place on a floured surface and knead a few times to bring it all together.
Cut into 12 pieces and roll each into a thin oval. Heat a large cast-iron griddle over medium heat and brush on some of the garlic butter. Brush the first two flatbreads on one side with the garlic butter and place on the griddle butter-side down for 1 to 2 minutes. Brush the other side of the flatbreads, then flip and cook until both sides are nicely golden, another 1 to 2 minutes. Place on a serving platter and cook the remaining flatbreads. Sprinkle with the flaky sea salt.
