Special equipment: a melon baller, optional
Put the strawberries in a mason jar with the rum and soak for 15 minutes in the fridge.
In a small bowl, combine the sugar and lime zest.
Remove the strawberries from the jar and cut a small slice from the bottom of each so they stand up; reserve the slices.
Top each strawberry with some of the whipped cream and sprinkle with the lime sugar. Cap each strawberry with a reserved strawberry slice.
