An Oasis in the Desert

The trucks travel to Phoenix and meet Tyler Florence at a Sonic Drive-In for a blind taste test and original savory dish challenge inspired by Sonic's signature drinks. One team member is left operating his truck solo when his teammates leave the race, and the day's sales in Phoenix are close, with the top four teams separated by less than $60. At Rawhide Ranch, the truck that made the least money is sent home, and the four remaining teams move forward.

Gingerbread Showdown: North Pole Games

The natives of the North Pole are very sporting types, and they even have their own games! Host Carla Hall challenges the gingerbreading teams to create giant displays that show off the unique games played up in Santa's stomping grounds. Each team must include at least one moving part and a dessert that's made with a "strong" ingredient in honor of all the strong athletes. Judges Stephanie Boswell and Kalen Allen help Carla decide which team takes home the gold and $10,000.

Baja Med Meals

One of the hottest food trends today is "Baja Med," the fusion of Mexican, Mediterranean, and Asian flavors pioneered in Marcela's home state of Baja. In this episode she gives us her own take on this movement with these delectable dishes: Shrimp Gobernador Tacos with shrimp, peppers, and tomatoes; Baja-Style Tuna Tartare with capers, olives, and sesame seeds; an original-style Caesar salad (which was invented in Tijuana); and figs cooked in a sweet syrup made from Baja wine and honey.

Brunch and Leftovers

With Amy and Chris still in lockdown at home they are making brunch. Amy mixes the Peach Bellinis while Chris walks her through Fried Eggs with Shallots, Spinach, some Pork Sausage and Pancakes. Then, Chris candies his favorite vegetable fennel for a perfectly baked sweet scone.  Amy and Chris have been loading up on groceries, so it is time to move into the leftover phase. Amy makes Chris a comforting Hot Toddy to get through the day, while Chris uses their leftovers to make Mashed Potatoes, Warm Radish and Potato Salad with a Tonnato Dressing and the world’s biggest Frittata.

This trip Guy's pulling in for a world of flavor. In Falls Church, Va., a South American joint attached to a motel where the Venezuelan sandwich comes loaded with shredded beef, black beans and cheese, or chicken salad. In Nashville, an Italian place where the chef and his wife compete to roll the thinnest fettuccini, then serve it up with home made vodka sauce. And in Sherman Oaks, Calif., some hard-core Triple-D fans show Guy their favorite spot for real deal German bratwurst.

Halloween Cookie Party!

Four fantastic cookie makers look to disguise hosts Jet Tila and Rosanna Pansino with festive Halloween masks made from cookies. Then, the cookiers really get the hang of things as they craft edible Halloween party banners that can actually be hung up. The competitors will have to indulge their sweet tooth while using ingredients like candy corn, chocolate taffy, grape-flavored lollipop, and peanut butter candy. One winner will claim sweet success as they take home the $10,000 price and the title of Halloween Cookie Champion.

Easter: Show Me the Bunny

Host Sunny Anderson welcomes eight Easter-obsessed bakers to the kitchen, and in the tasting round, they must put their best rabbit's foot forward to serve up a fantasy Easter dessert featuring the ultimate Easter ingredient -- chocolate! Then, the bakers hope they're having a good "hare" day when they have to imagine themselves as giant Easter Bunnies made out of cake. Judges Jordan Andino and Stephanie Boswell decide who goes home and who moves on for their shot at winning the Golden Easter Egg filled with $25,000.

After a little time at the kneading board, The Sandwich King heads back home to get yeasty with it, baking focaccia for a Mediterranean-inspired grilled chicken sandwich and some pretzel bread to elevate a humble hot dog. A show so delicious, you'll want to eat it fresh out of the oven.
