12 frozen lemon juice ice cubes (see Cook's Note)
1 scoop lemon sorbet or sherbet
1 cup vodka
3 ounces simple syrup
12 regular ice cubes
1 handful fresh thyme plus additional sprigs, for garnish
Thinly sliced lemon, for garnish
To make the lemon juice ice cubes, divide about 1 1/2 cups of lemon juice among 12 cavities of an ice cube tray. Freeze until solid.
