Step 1

Cut an avocado in half, remove the pit and peel, and place one half cut-side down on a cutting board.

Step 2

Slice the avocado thinly, crosswise. The thinner the slices are, the easier it will be to roll them into a rose.

Step 3

Put the flat side of your knife along the side of the avocado. Press the knife against the slices so they fan out, overlapping each other.
