From on-trend ceramics to best-selling cookware, Material is one of our favorite DTC kitchenware brands. And today, the AAPI-founded brand just dropped their cutest new products to date — a special collection just for kids.

This collection features mini versions of Material's best-selling kitchen tools, proportionally re-sized for smaller hands. According to a brand representative, the Kids Collection, "encourages cooking together, exploring new flavors, embracing the mess in the kitchen, and making memories."

Co-founder Eunice Byun adds that, “These days, the kitchen has transformed into a more creative space, offering a moment to slow down after a busy day, a moment to savor things in real life (after a long day staring at laptops and phones). It’s also become a real place of fascination and intrigue for my two daughters, ages 2.5 and 7. They love the entire process of making something — from measuring out the ingredients to whisking them all together to dancing while waiting for things to cook. A part of me believes that in an age of immediacy and intangibility, they are drawn to the physicality and patience required in the kitchen.”

The Kids Collection features mini tools (a spatula and whisk) made from BPA-free silicone and available in two vibrant, color-blocked designs. 'Zingy' features cool shades of blue, green and teal, while 'Tart' is everything pink.

Whether your kiddo already loves spending time in the kitchen or you want to get them more involved in the dinnertime routine, snag these cute tools before they inevitably sell out.

This mini version of Material's spatula is made from their signature soft-touch silicone and is dishwasher-safe for easy cleanup. It's flexible, yet stable — perfect for little hands who are still learning how to mix, scrape and flip.

The Air Whisk is one of Material's best-selling items, so, naturally, they created a mini version. Like the full-sized whisk, this one has an individual loop design that makes for optimal aeration and mixing. It's perfect for teaching your little one how to scramble eggs, mix pancake batter and more.

Want both mini kitchen tools? Snag this kit, which comes with The Cook Deck — a recipe card game created with children's author and food critic Joshua David and illustrator Erin Jang. The game is designed for kids of all ages and will teach them to follow recipe steps and discover delicious ingredients.
