Krispy Kreme Introduces the Cutest Collection for America's 250th
Plus, you can get one for free on the Fourth of July.

America is celebrating its 250th anniversary this year, and to celebrate, many brands have started to join in on the fun with special launches. If you're a fan of Krispy Kreme, then you probably know that the brand is always looking for ways to elevate its doughnuts with new flavors and decorations (like a few weeks ago, with its World Cup-themed Match Day collection). Now, the chain is doing it again. Enter: the Fourth of July collection, in honor of America's 250th.
What is Krispy Kreme's Fourth of July collection?
The patriotic menu features four doughnuts, including two new flavors and two returning crowd-pleasers. Whether you want something with vibrant red, white and blue decorations or something more classic, you'll find it in this collection.
Here's what's coming:
- NEW USA Doughnut: An unglazed shell doughnut filled with cookies and kreme, dipped in red icing with patriotic stars and a USA sugar piece.
- NEW Firework Doughnut: An original glazed doughnut dipped in vanilla flavored icing with gold glitter and a firecracker sugar piece.
- Freedom Ring Doughnut: An original glazed doughnut dipped in white icing, blue sprinkles and white stars, piped with red icing stripes.
- Chocolate Iced with Patriotic Sprinkles: An original glazed doughnut dipped in chocolate icing and sprinkled with patriotic sprinkles.
"Whether you're heading to a backyard barbecue, gathering with friends for fireworks or celebrating with family, our delicious patriotic doughnuts and sweet deals will help bring ‘fourth’ the fun however and wherever you’re celebrating America’s 250th birthday,” Alison Holder, Krispy Kreme chief brand and product officer, says in a press release.
Where to get a free Krispy Kreme doughnut on the Fourth of July:
Alongside the Fourth of July collection, Krispy Kreme is keeping the fun going by giving fans the chance to score a free doughnut on the Fourth of July. Yes, you read that right — a free doughnut (now that's a way to celebrate).
All you have to do is show up to the store wearing red, white and blue to receive a free original glazed doughnut. There's no purchase necessary, however, the giveaway is limited to one doughnut per guest.
Additionally, from July 2 through 5, you can get an original glazed dozen for only $2.50 with the purchase of any dozen or 16-count minis at regular price. This BOGO deal is available in-shop and drive-thru, with a limit of two per guest for in-store and drive-thru orders and one per order using the promo code "USA" when placed via the Krispy Kreme app or website.
When can you get Krispy Kreme's Fourth of July collection?
Want to get in on the festive goodness this summer? You'll be able to find it beginning tomorrow, June 23, both in-shop and for pickup or delivery via Krispy Kreme’s app and website. You can order the doughnuts individually or by the dozen.
Not near a Krispy Kreme store? The collection will also be available in a six-pack box featuring two each of the Freedom Ring, chocolate iced with patriotic sprinkles and original glazed doughnuts at select retailers across the United States.
