In anticipation of the United States’ upcoming Semiquincentennial celebration on July 4, 2026, marking the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, Coca-Cola is launching a new line of limited-edition collectible bottles and cute mini-cans, along with other commemorative packaging.

The America250 collectible mini-cans, which will highlight every U.S. state, are the first collectible mini-cans Coke has ever released.

What are Coca-Cola’s America250 collectible mini-cans?

Each America250 collectible mini-can features a design that evokes one of the 50 states, as well as Puerto Rico and the District of Columbia. The customized cans will spotlight symbolic local imagery, like a Georgia peach or a California surfer.

The America250 mini-cans are designed to be collected and shared and feature scannable packaging that unlocks prizes and rewards, such as a brand-new Jeep and experiences that are “inspired by exploring the country.”

The collectible mini-cans harken back to the collectible bottles Coca-Cola released in 1976 to honor the nation’s Bicentennial.

“Coca‑Cola has always reflected the times we live in while helping bring people together,” Stacy Jackson, vice president of Coca‑Cola Trademark, North America, says in a statement. “This milestone is an opportunity to celebrate where we’ve been — and where we’re going.”

Where and when are the America250 mini-cans available?

Coca-Cola, Diet Coke and Coke Zero America250 state mini-can packs are currently available at retailers nationwide and will be available throughout 2026.

The scannable sweepstakes QR codes in the mini-can packs will roll out in iterations, according to a brand spokesperson. In April and May, "The Ultimate Exploration" sweepstakes will offer a chance at a grand prize of a new Jeep. In July and August, a"Win the Weekend" sweepstakes includes a grand prize of a Carnival Cruise. Full-campaign prizes and rewards include limited-edition America250 state pins and other collectible items.

How else is Coca-Cola marking America’s 250th anniversary?

The cans’ release is part of a new Coca-Cola campaign, “Drink in America,” celebrating communities across the country. The brand will partner with local bottlers, working toward a goal of creating 250,000 volunteer hours in 2026. It’s also engaging artists in each state to create 50 large “Paint the Nation” murals celebrating local culture.

“For nearly 140 years, Coca‑Cola has been part of the American experience. From our collectible America250 mini-cans to our community outreach initiatives, our goal is to uplift Americans throughout every zip code and create optimism for the future,” Jackson says.
