Bio
Elise is a contributing writer for HGTV, freelance journalist, and communications specialist based in Northampton, Massachusetts. She has a strong background in public relations, communications, and journalism, with her work appearing in publications such as Condé Nast Traveler, The Seattle Times, Reader’s Digest, and Cosmopolitan. Outside of writing, she enjoys shopping for antique décor and locally made art.
Experience
Elise writes for HGTV, focusing on home design, décor, and lifestyle content. In addition to her work with HGTV, she is a regular contributor to the Daily Hampshire Gazette and Valley Advocate. Her experience spans editorial roles, reporting, and public relations, including a former role as a publicist for Jacob’s Pillow, where she secured media placements in The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, The Boston Globe, and The New York Times. In August 2024, she joined the Advisory Board for the Parlor Room Collective as Chair of the PR Committee, helping shape the organization’s public relations strategy.
