4 ounces Beet-Carrot-Apple Juice, recipe follows

2 ounces gin

1 ounce Campari

Apple slice, for garnish

Beet-Carrot-Apple Juice:

2 medium beets, trimmed and scrubbed

1 Granny Smith apple, peeled and cored

3 medium carrots, peeled


  1. Combine the Beet-Carrot-Apple Juice, gin and Campari in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake vigorously for 8 to 10 seconds. Strain into a tall glass filled with ice. Garnish with the apple slice.

Beet-Carrot-Apple Juice:

Yield: 8 to 10 ounces
  1. Juice, in this order, the beets, apple and carrots, following your juicer's specific settings for each. Serve the juice immediately over ice, if desired.
