Open Pig-Faced Sandwiches

2 drops or squirts of red food coloring

8 ounces whipped cream cheese, at room temperature

3 sandwich-sized English muffins, sliced in half

12 tin radish slices

6 small black olives

6 strips of red pepper

6 cherry tomatoes, sliced in four circles

6 thin cucumber slices

6 stuffed green olives, sliced in half


  1. Put food coloring directly into cream cheese container to create pink face cream for pigs. Mix well. Spread a thin layer of pig cream onto muffin. Save some cream for sticking on face parts. As you create each pig face, be sure to press veggies down, gently, so they stick. Try using radishes and black olives for eyes, red peppers for lips, cherry tomatoes for ears, and cucumbers and stuffed olives for the nose.
