In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, add the sweet potatoes, sugar, milk, vanilla, lemon, nutmeg, eggs and butter. Mix until evenly distributed. Pour the mixture into a large casserole dish and bake for 2 hours. Serve warm.
