Truvia® natural sweetener Hot Spiced Cider

1 cup Truvia® natural sweetener or 55 packets

2 cups water

4 cinnamon sticks

2 1/2 inch slices peeled fresh ginger

1/4 cup fresh-squeezed lemon juice

2 quarts fresh apple cider


  1. Combine Truvia® natural sweetener, water, cinnamon and ginger in a heavy pot and bring to a simmer. Simmer for 15 minutes, until Truvia® natural sweetener is dissolved and the syrup is deeply spiced. Set aside.
  2. Before serving, add the syrup, lemon juice and cider in a pot and keep warm over low heat (without boiling) until ready to serve. Serve with a cinnamon stick and a slice of lemon, if desired.
