Jeff brings his Spanish-fluent brother Frank with him to his favorite state-side pastor joint to learn the secrets of this delectable meat from a master. He takes what he's learned back home and makes his own version of Tacos al Pastor with readily available ingredients, stirs up a smoky and spicy Roasted Salsa for his Lime Tortilla Chips, and finishes off with a classic Mexican Torta sandwich, featuring a breaded and fried steak cutlet topped by jalapenos and cool avocado slices.

Robert is facing double trouble when his next mission takes him to Twinsburg, Ohio, home of Twins Days - the largest annual gathering of twins. Robert's mission is to create a meal for 250 twins in just 8 hours. The catch? In keeping with the Twins Days theme, for every dish Robert creates, he must make its twin. That means that Robert will have take the main ingredients from one dish and create a totally different second dish using those same main ingredients.

As Robert approaches the mound he is greeted by 1980 World Series Champion and current Phillies coaching staff member, Dickie Noles. Dickie explains that this is the only time of year that the minor league and major league players practice side by side. In honor of that, Robert has 7 hours to make a meal for 200 ballplayers using major league and minor league ingredients.

Season's greetings! Host Jesse Palmer gets some welcoming inspiration for the first Preheat as he challenges the 12 bakers to create meringue pavlova wreaths in yummy fall flavors. For the Main Heat, Jesse settles a long-standing debate over the best holiday dessert by dividing the kitchen into the pie team and the cake team. The better bake wins immunity for their whole team, and judges Nancy Fuller, Duff Goldman and Carla Hall send one baker from the losing team home.

Roadside Attractions

When the top three teams arrive in Tulsa, Tyler Florence takes away their phones and internet abilities: All of their research, outreach, marketing and navigation have to be done the old-fashioned way. He then challenges them to build roadside attractions to pull in customers. On their second day, the teams sell at one of the last drive-ins on Route 66. They race from car to car, knowing that each lost sale could be the one that sends them home.

Fair classics like Funnel Cakes and the Blooming Onion and Funnel Cakes get a Ohio state spin but it's the Giant Deep Fried Gummy Bear that really gets Noah going. Then he heads to the NC Potato Festival in North Carolina, where a local specialty is a big hit: Calabash Flounder.
