Dunkin’ Is Teaming Up With an Iconic Designer on a One-of-a-Kind Wedding Dress
Celebrate National Proposal Day with wedding cake-inspired Munchkins — and the chance to win this beautiful gown.

Weddings are full of traditions and superstitions, from not seeing the bride before the ceremony to throwing bouquets at the reception. Now, for National Proposal Day tomorrow, March 20, Dunkin’ is putting a coffee-fied twist on a classic rhyme full of auspicious wearables. The brand is teaming with legendary bridal gown designer Vera Wang to suggest brides-to-be put on something old, something new, something borrowed, and “something brewed.”
Dunkin’ fan and fashion icon Wang is acting as the chain’s “Chief Proposal Officer” for National Proposal Day, marking “the arrival of spring and the start of a season filled with engagements, bridal celebrations and weddings,” an announcement from the brand explains. That includes, for one lucky winner, a chance to score a gown from one of Vera Wang’s flagship salons in New York City or Beverly Hills.

What is Dunkin' doing for National Proposal Day?
First, for a limited time, Dunkin’ will ring in this season with Wedding Cake Munchkins, “a glazed blueberry cake donut hole with wedding cake-flavored sprinkles” that would pair well with a white dress.
And about that ring: Anyone who buys a 25-count or 50-count pack of Munchkins on Friday, March 20 will receive a limited-edition “I Dough” ring box: a clamshell-style presentation box in Dunkin pink with stitched detailing and printed with a Dunkin’ logo and hearts. Each one comes with a single Wedding Cake Munchkin already inside to sweeten the deal — along with any jewelry you want to slip in, of course — and will be available while supplies last. (OK, we’ll admit it: Saying “I dough” is a very cute way to commit.)

However, if you want to win the Vera Wang bridal shopping experience, you’ll not only need to acquire an “I Dough” ring box, you’ll need to take a video of presenting a friend or partner with the Dunkin’ ring box — “whether it’s a wedding proposal, bridesmaid ask, vow renewal or another creative take on popping the question” — and post it to Instagram or TikTok, tagging Dunkin and Vera Wang and using the hashtag #DunkinVeraWangcontest. Of those bold, doughnut-enhanced proposals, one will win the grand prize. (More details will be available here starting March 20.) And, as an added “something brewed” touch, “Wang will embroider the winner’s go-to Dunkin’ order inside the gown.”
The contest will run from tomorrow, March 20, until April 3.

What other merch is Dunkin' releasing for National Proposal Day?
But that’s not the only way to get some Vera Wang style from Dunkin’. Wang also teamed on a collection of “Something Brewed” merch. Dunkin’-loving brides and bridesmaids can find items including embroidered loungewear, tote bags and wedding-themed Dunkin’ cups.
