Lately, we can’t help noticing, Taco Bell is all in on sauces. Only two weeks ago, Taco Bell introduced a hot new Volcano Sauce — a twist on the chain’s Lava Sauce — nationwide for a limited time. It integrated the new sauce into a reimagined version of a recently reintroduced old favorite: the Volcano Quesarito.

And starting today, January 22, the brand is treating fans to another “bold new sauce moment” — and bringing back another fan-favorite item. Crispy Chicken Nuggets are returning nationwide, and Taco Bell is launching its new Hidden Valley Diablo Ranch Sauce, which the chain describes as a collaboration that “fuses Hidden Valley Ranch’s iconic creaminess with the smoky heat of Taco Bell’s Diablo sauce.”

What is Taco Bell’s new Hidden Valley Diablo Ranch Sauce?

If you’ve ever wondered what would happen if Hidden Valley Ranch dressing and Taco Bell’s Diablo Sauce had a baby, this new sauce is the answer.

Following a previous collaboration between Taco Bell and Hidden Valley Ranch, which brought the world Hidden Valley Fire Ranch Sauce, the new Hidden Valley Diablo Ranch Sauce is said to be “fiercer” and more “flavor-packed,” designed for those who prefer their ranch dressing to have an “unapologetic kick,” Taco Bell says. Blending the cool, creaminess of Hidden Valley Ranch and the rich, hot smokiness of Taco Bell Diablo sauce, the new condiment was created “to go big" on crispy chicken.

“Our goal was simple: take the ranch fans love and give it a fiery upgrade worthy of Taco Bell’s bold flavors,” Michelle Amador, head of away-from-home sales and partnerships at Hidden Valley Ranch, says. “Hidden Valley Diablo Ranch Sauce delivers on that promise with a perfect balance of cool and heat."

Why is Taco Bell bringing back Crispy Chicken Nuggets now?

In the little over a year since it joined the Taco Bell lineup, Crispy Chicken has become a huge hit. In fact, it was responsible for bringing in almost a quarter of all new customers to Taco Bell in 2025, with more than 70 million Crispy Chicken menu items sold.

Made with white chicken meat and coated in a “crispy tortilla-chip-flaked breading,” Crispy Chicken Nuggets have generated particular excitement. The nuggets’ return to menus alongside the new Hidden Valley Diablo Ranch Sauce cements Crispy Chicken’s spot as a Taco Bell stalwart.

“Over the past year, our crispy chicken has built a loyal fanbase faster than we could’ve imagined — and we’re just getting started,” Liz Matthews, Taco Bell’s global chief food innovation officer, says in a news release. “Bringing back Crispy Chicken Nuggets while leveling up our collab with Hidden Valley Ranch is our way of doubling down on what fans are clearly craving: big flavor, bold heat and unexpected twists.”

When can you order Crispy Chicken Nuggets and Hidden Valley Diablo Ranch Sauce at Taco Bell?

Crispy Chicken Nuggets and Hidden Valley Diablo Ranch Sauce will be available starting today, January 22, for a limited time and while supplies last. You can order the nuggets in various sizes and combos at participating Taco Bell locations nationwide and via the Taco Bell app — with any Taco Bell sauce.

The lineup includes 5-piece Crispy Chicken Nuggets, with a choice of one sauce, for $4.49; 10-piece Crispy Chicken Nuggets, with a choice of two sauces, for $7.49; a 10-piece Crispy Chicken Nuggets Combo, including 10-piece nuggets, regular fries, a large fountain drink and choice of two sauces, for $9.49; and a Nugget Deluxe Combo, with 5-piece nuggets with choice of one sauce, beef chalupa, crunchy taco, regular fries with nacho cheese sauce and a large fountain drink, for $11.49.
