Dunkin's New Drink Size Is So Large It Comes in a Bucket
The chain is testing the giant iced beverages at a dozen New England locations.

How thirsty are you? Really thirsty? Really, truly thirsty? Dunkin’ has got you. The chain is testing 48-ounce cold beverage buckets. For reference, that’s six cups, one and a half quarts, 96 tablespoons or the equivalent of four standard cans of soda. Quite a quencher!
The hitch? These big boys are currently available only at select locations.
What are Dunkin’s Beverage Buckets?
Dunkin’s Beverage Buckets are big, clear, Dunkin-branded containers that hold 48 ounces of liquid and feature a top and a sized-to-scale straw. Inspired by a viral trend introduced by smaller regional coffee shops, Dunkin’s buckets also boast a handle for ease of carrying.
The collectible buckets can be filled with classic Dunkin’ beverages like Iced Coffee, Iced Lattes or Dunkin’ Refreshers. You can also fill them with one of three “featured creations”: Blueberry Cobbler Iced Latte, Caramel Coco Iced Coffee or Strawberry Dragonfruit Lemonade Refresher.
The buckets are double the size of Dunkin’s “extra large” hot drink cups (24 ounces) and 50 percent larger than the chain’s largest size cold drink cups (32 ounces). Yes, that’s a lot of caffeine — arguably, too much. But hey, you can always share.
Where are Dunkin’s Beverage Buckets available?
Dunkin’ is testing the buckets at “select locations” in Massachusetts and New Hampshire — and, for now, only in those two states. Dunkin’ hasn’t confirmed the specific locations where you can buy a bucket, but people have spotted them at two New Hampshire and 10 Massachusetts stores so far.
And if you live in New England, you might want to scope it out soon. The buckets — which reportedly cost in the $8 to $11 range, depending on the beverage you’ve filled them with and the location — are a limited run. Word on the street is that some testing locations have already exhausted their supply, with no sign of a restock in sight.

Is Dunkin’ planning to roll out its cold beverage buckets nationwide?
For now, Dunkin’ isn’t saying whether a broader beverage bucket launch is in the cards. (Yes, we asked.) But trust that the brand is keeping an eye on the online response.
There are certainly skeptics. Some Redditors are fretting about the caffeine content.
“And,” one YouTuber noted, “if you’re saying to yourself, my car doesn’t have a cup holder like that — it sure doesn’t!”
But overall, the response on social media has been positive, with lots of commenters begging for the buckets to come to their local Dunkin. “Need this in …” pleas prevail.
