Bigger isn’t always better — but sometimes, when it comes to promotional products like 5-gallon popcorn buckets or 180-can cases of beer, the old adage stands. So of course, when Dunkin’ tested large format drink buckets earlier this year, they went viral, and soon after, the chain followed the drop with a limited-time nationwide rollout.
But if you missed out on enjoying 48-ounces of your favorite Dunkin’ drink, fear not: The Iced Beverage Buckets are coming back this August. And for Dunkin’ Rewards members, toting their buckets around in the car is about to get a whole lot easier.

When are Dunkin’ Buckets returning to Dunkin’?
After two previous releases this year, Dunkin’ Beverage Buckets are once again making a limited-time return starting Friday, August 7. (As usual, Dunkin’ advises that these will be available at locations nationwide while supplies last.)
The Iced Beverage Buckets hold 48 ounces (16 ounces larger that a Large) and cost $12.99, with your choice of cold beverage included. If you’re looking for inspiration, this summer Dunkin’ has released a pink drinks menu, a collaboration with clothing brand Parke and another with Kylie Jenner.
How to get a Dunkin’ Bucket cupholder:
The one thing these giant beverage buckets aren’t is “car-friendly” or, likewise, compatible with any kind of cupholder situation. But ahead of the upcoming bucket drop in August, Dunkin’ has commuting coffee fans covered. Starting today, July 29, Dunkin’ Rewards members who have achieved “Boosted Status” (12 visits in a given month) will get early access to grab their very own, specially-designed “Dunkin’ Iced Beverage Bucket Holder” for free. Of course, as always, supplies are limited. A Dunkin’ representative says to check the Dunkin’ app or rewards website for details.
As yet, Dunkin’ has not disclosed whether the custom Bucket Holders will make a wider rollout to non-Boosted customers. So until then, just keep a tight grip on those bucket handles.
