Dunkin’ Is Putting the Best Part of Halloween in a Cup
Plus the chain’s adorable spider doughnuts, Munchkin buckets and quirky costumes are back.

As festive and fall-forward as the pumpkin spice lattes that pop up everywhere in the autumn may be, some of us prefer to revel in the tricks and treats of Spooky Season. Coffee and doughnut chain Dunkin’ is happy to indulge each year as it continually brings back its doughnuts topped with a Munchkin and icing spider or other creepy and colorful menu items. Of course, what is Halloween without the candy? And while it’s fun enough to eat candy, this year Dunkin’ is giving a nod to a perennial staple of Trick-or-Treater hauls in a new drink.
Hang on to your sweet tooth: The Candy Bar Signature Latte hits participating Dunkin’ locations nationwide today, Wednesday, October 15, and features “chocolate, toffee, pretzel and peanut butter flavors paired with rich espresso, topped with whipped cream, mocha drizzle, and crumbled candy bar pieces.” With all of those flavors, it seems Dunkin’ has taken inspiration from just about every Fun Size goodie imaginable. And despite what we said about your sweet tooth, the mix of flavors seems to encompass that satisfying sweet and salty vibe. And depending on your coziness needs, it’s available as a hot or iced latte.

As is now tradition, Dunkin is also bringing back its Spider Specialty Donut, a glazed donut topped with purple icing and a chocolate Munchkin Spider sitting in the middle. Or you can order a whole Halloween Munchkins Bucket, 50 Munchkins in a cute plastic pail decorated with illustrations of smiling, costumed Munchkins and complete with a lid that looks like the Spider Donut.

But that’s not all the Spider Donut revelry Dunkin’ is offering. You can also dress as a Spider Donut in an adult-sized onesie costume complete with eight dangling legs. Or carry your love of Spider Donuts with you in the form of either a plush keychain, “Straw Buddy” drinking straw charm, or giant-sized Spider Donut plushy.
