You’ll Want to Snag This $2 Halloween Collectible from Burger King
The chain is giving the people what they want: cute, convenient candy storage.

Burger King is on a roll. In August, it brought back its beloved Cini Minis, much to fans’ delight. Next month, it’s reviving another popular item just in time for spooky season: the BK Halloween Bucket.
What are BK Halloween buckets?
Whether you’re collecting candy or handing it out this year, you’ll need the right vessel to hold it all. Burger King’s limited-edition bucket, first launched in 2023, can handle all your trick-or-treat needs.
The chain is relatively new to the bucket bandwagon, though. McDonald’s originally released its iconic pails in 1986 (and is expected to announce this year’s soon). Dunkin’ sold a version last year, too. Even Home Depot is selling a Halloween version of its classic orange bucket this fall.
The 2023 BK Halloween Buckets sported a design of ghosts with chili pepper stems on their heads (ghost peppers — get it?). BK’s 2025 Halloween buckets feature menu items dressed up in Halloween costumes: a carton of chicken fries as a mummy, a hamburger patty as a football player and a chicken nugget as a witch. You can snag a bucket for just $2 starting Friday, October 10, while supplies last.

What else is Burger King doing for Halloween this year?
In the meantime, the chain has other Halloween fun in store. When you order a King Jr. Meal at a participating location, you’ll get one of six Scooby-Doo toys. Each collectible character from the Mystery Inc. Gang (plus the Headless Horseman) holds a trick-or-treat bag and wears a removable Halloween mask. The collection is available now.
