Goldfish and Pokémon Drop Limited-Edition Collectible Packs

If you have a Pokémon fan in your life, especially one who likes to snack, you’re going to want to know about the entertainment brand’s latest collab. Pokémon has teamed up with Goldfish to release limited-edition, collectible packs of crackers in the shapes of popular Pokémon characters. The packs are celebrating Pokémon’s 30th anniversary.
What are Goldfish x Pokémon edition packs?
The brands are collaborating to release four limited-edition collectible packs of crackers, each featuring a beloved original starter Pokémon character: Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle and Pikachu. The characters are not only featured on the front of each Goldfish x Pokémon pack, they are also depicted on the crackers themselves.
The packs are “built around the same ‘complete the set’ mindset that’s driven fans for decades,” the brands say. “For fans who grew up trading Pokémon cards and snacking on Goldfish, this one will hit home.”
The crackers are an expansion of a collaborative offering from the brands this past fall. These packs are new, “giving fans even more ways to snack with” — or should they say, on? — “their favorite Pokémon.”
“I told my girlfriend we could get a Snackachu when I saw this at the store,” one fellow quipped on social media. “I’m sure she’s not sick of me.” Surely, not!
Are the crackers in Goldfish x Pokémon packs different from regular Goldfish crackers?
Yes and no. The crackers are “the same cheddar Goldfish you know and love — always baked and made with no artificial colors,” the brand says.
However, these collectible packs include some crackers that are in the shape and color of the Pokémon character depicted on the front of the packaging. Bulbasaur crackers are green. Charmander crackers are reddish orange. Squirtle crackers are blue. And the Pikachu snacks are yellow. The rest of the crackers in each pack are Goldfish-shaped crackers in the same color as the Pokémon character which which they are sharing a bag.
“Teaming up with Pokémon for this limited-edition launch is all about bringing fans a collaboration that feels fun, familiar and made for sharing,” Mike Fanelli, Goldfish senior director, says in a statement. “This release combines the excitement of Pokémon that many parents grew up with — now reimagined for snack time with their kids. It also marks the first time Goldfish has released crackers in a single color.”
Where can you get the Goldfish x Pokémon edition packs?
The Goldfish x Pokémon Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle edition packs will be available at retailers nationwide starting this month, May 2026. The Pikachu edition packs will be available exclusively at Walmart and Target. All packs will be priced at $3.69.
