Sonic's New Wacky Packs Feature an Iconic Character
And, these cute kids-meal collectibles are 'scented.'

Cuteness alert: Sonic, the drive-in fast-food chain, is offering an adorable collection of Hello Kitty & Friends toys with its Wacky Pack kids meals nationwide this month.
What is in Sonic’s Hello Kitty & Friends toy collection?
The set includes 15 “exclusive” toys, according to a press release. There are six multicolor “scented” character figures, six gold figures and three color‑changing spoons that are “inspired by iconic Sonic menu items and fan-favorite characters.”
Here’s the lineup of scented characters, each also available in gold:
- Pompompurin: This cute little dog-holding-a-cookie figure smells like cookie dough.
- Hello Kitty: The classic character is cherry-scented.
- Chococat: This cat figurine looks and smells like chocolate.
- Kuromi: This purple-hooded figurine is grape scented.
- My Melody: This pink-and-white figurine smells like strawberries.
- Cinnamoroll: This mostly white figurine is vanilla scented.
Here are the color-changing spoons:
- Hangyodon
- Keroppi
- Badtz-Maru
When and Where are Sonic’s Hello Kitty & Friends toys available?
The collectible toys, suitable for children ages 3 and up, are now available nationwide at participating Sonic Drive-Ins. The toys come with the purchase of a Wacky Pack Kids Meal (one per meal). The Wacky Pack Kids Meals include an entree such as a hamburger, hot dog, chicken tenders or grilled cheese, as well as a choice of side and a drink.
The toys will be available only for a limited time — through May 31 — and only while supplies last. People on social media are excited about them, so Hello Kitty fans looking to collect them all may want to act fast.
