Eos Drops Limited-Edition Doughnut Lip Balms – And They’re Divine

Sure, you could smell a doughnut just by eating one. But when a doughnut just isn’t within reach, you could, thanks to eos, smear your lips with two new, limited-edition doughnut-inspired lip balm flavors instead. One of them smells like a vanilla-frosted doughnut, the other like a chocolate-glazed doughnut, both with rainbow sprinkles.

The company that makes those egg-shaped lip balms is releasing microbatch flavors to celebrate what it’s deeming 10 Days of Super Awesome. Sprinkle Donut Super Soft Shea Lip Balm – which tastes like a “warm, fresh-baked doughnut, vanilla bean and sprinkles,” according to eos – is a back-by-popular demand re-release that sold out last year in less than two hours. Chocolate Glazed Donut Super Soft Shea Lip Balm – with a flavor eos describes as “like ooey gooey chocolate cake doughnut, sweet sugar glaze and rainbow sprinkles” – is brand new.

But wait, do they really smell like doughnuts?

We got our hands on a batch, and why yes, yes they do. The Chocolate Glazed Donut, especially, was amazing. It smells just like a chocolate sprinkles doughnut – instead of an offputting, artificial version of one.

Both flavors are made with sustainably sourced ingredients, are hypoallergenic and free of parabens, phthalates and gluten, and promise to hydrate your lips and seal in moisture for 24 hours.

The lip balms, which both come packed in a container with a fun, sprinkle-filled lid, just dropped on eos’ website, priced at $4.99 each. They’re definitely going to sell out fast, so if you want one, run – donut walk!
