The 2026 World Cup, featuring 104 matches in 16 cities across the United States, Mexico and Canada, is set to kick off on June 11. And in the run-up to all the soccer (or football, if you prefer) excitement, McDonald’s is dropping two new meals — a FIFA World Cup 26 Meal and a Happy Meal — that include collectible soccer-themed keepsakes and aim to let customers “fuel their fandom.” The limited-time meals will be available at participating McDonald’s locations worldwide.
Partnering with the FIFA World Cup 26 allows McDonald’s to bring the shared joy of celebration “to life at a global scale through our food, our experiences and the ways fans connect with the game,” Morgan Flatley, the brand’s global chief marketing officer and head of new business ventures, says in a press release. “As football icons take the field to unite fans across continents, McDonald’s will be there from the first whistle to the final minute with limited-time meals and keepsakes so fans of all ages can be part of the excitement all tournament long and beyond.”
What is McDonald’s FIFA World Cup 26 Meal?
Available now, McDonald’s FIFA World Cup 26 Meal includes your choice of a Big Mac or 10-piece Chicken McNuggets and pairs it with the chain’s “limited-edition, gold-packaged Big Mac Sauce.” There’s also a breakfast option featuring a Sausage McMuffin with Egg or Sausage Egg Biscuit and Hash Browns.
These meals will come with one of nine collectible cups featuring iconic soccer players: Christian Pulisic, David Beckham, Ronaldinho Gaucho, Thierry Henry, Son Heung-Min, Lamine Yamal, Alphonso Davies Santiago Gimenez... and, um, Grimace, whom the brand calls its “very own certified legend.”
“Growing up, it was our ritual after soccer tournaments to go to our McDonald's near Hershey, PA, for Chicken McNuggets and a McFlurry," U.S. Men’s National Team star Christian Pulisic says in a statement. "Those memories were a core part of my childhood and an experience I still share with my teammates today. To now be featured on a McDonald's collectible cup all these years later is a full-circle moment.”

What is McDonald’s FIFA World Cup 26 Happy Meal?
Arriving on June 9, the FIFA World Cup 26 Happy Meal is meant for soccer fans young, old and in between. Each soccer-themed Happy Meal includes one of 23 Squishmallows plush toys. These include the official FIFA World Cup 26 mascots representing each of the three countries hosting the tournament: the United States, Canada and Mexico.
“Kitted in unique soccer-inspired jerseys and McDonald’s graphics, the collection invites families around the world into the game,” the brand says.
Each Squishmallows Happy Meal will also feature special packaging with a scannable code that provides access to a digital game on www.happymeal.com. For each FIFA World Cup 26 Happy Meal sold in the U.S., McDonald’s will direct a portion of sales to its Ronald McDonald House charity.
