We all have those two weird foods we like to mix together. Don’t worry, you don’t have to tell anyone about it. But whatever your ideal snack salad may be, sometimes food companies come up withcome up with something your hungry little imagination could only have dreamt of.
Enter the new Reese’s Oreo Cup: basically everyone’s favorite candy filled with basically everyone’s favorite cookie. And there’s more. Also enter Oreo Reese’s Cookies: chocolate cookies sandwiched around a Reese’s peanut butter creme.
Fans have been combining Oreos and Reese’s for years on social media and asking for a collab. Now, the brands are teaming up to give the people what they want.
“As a 110+ year-old brand, we’re constantly looking for ways to disrupt the snacking market,” Michelle Deignan, Vice President of the Oreo brand, U.S., says in a press release. “What better way to show our fans we listen to their evolving snacking needs than to partner with the Reese’s brand to deliver the collab of their dreams.”
“At Reese’s, we’re obsessed with pushing the boundaries of what chocolate and peanut butter can become — and our fans fuel that fire,” Dan Mohnshine, Vice President of U.S. Confection Marketing at The Hershey Company, says in the press release. “This isn’t just another product launch — it’s two legendary brands coming together to create something absolutely unprecedented that’ll blow minds and taste buds everywhere.”
To that end, the Reese’s cups have a new addition on the inside and an updated color scheme to go along with Oreo’s iconic look. The cups are stuffed with chunks of Oreo cookie wafers along with the usual peanut butter filling, and the outside is a two-tone milk chocolate and white creme shell. Meanwhile, Oreo Reese’s cookies are your usual chocolate Oreo wafers with a peanut buttery filling (in flavor and color) featuring additional flecks of Oreo crumbs.
Reese’s Oreo Cups, a new permanent Reese’s flavor, will first be available for preorder on the official Hershey Store starting August 18 (with early signup available here). Oreo Reese’s Cookies will also be available starting August 18 at Oreo.com with presales already in progress.
Both items will hit retailers nationwide beginning in September 2025. The Oreo Reese’s Cookies, while initially a limited edition, are scheduled to return to the Oreo slate in January 2026.
