Everyone I’ve told about Dunkin’s new banana-flavored drinks has had one of two reactions: buzzing with excitement or recoiling in distaste. While Starbucks debuted its Banana Protein Cold Foam back in September, Dunkin’ is firing back with a double hitter of the divisive flavor, welcoming both Banana Cold Foam and Banana Syrup to its spring menu.

The franchise has spun these two new ingredients to create several new banana-flavored drinks on its menu, including three standout lattes.

What are Dunkin’s new banana-flavored drinks?

Dunkin’s starring banana drinks are:

  • Banana Puddin’ Cloud Latte: A whole milk latte swirled with banana and topped with Banana Cold Foam.
  • Monkey Business Cloud Latte: A whole milk latte swirled with butter pecan and topped with Banana Cold Foam.
  • Nutty Banana Cloud Dunkalatte: Espresso and coffee milk swirled with hazelnut and topped with Banana Cold Foam.

Head to the Dunkin’ app and you’ll find a special “Goin’ Bananas” menu page that puts a banana spin on more menu items. You can also try Daydream Refreshers topped with Banana Foam, a hot or iced Bananarama Matcha, Banana Shakin’ Espresso, Chocolate Covered Banana Iced Coffee, Banana Creme Iced Coffee and Banana Frozen Chocolate.

My honest review of Dunkin’s new banana lattes:

Dunkin’ could’ve gone in one of two directions with its banana drinks: either trying to replicate the flavor of the fresh fruit or leaning into a candy taste. It chose the latter. Both the syrup and the cold foam taste like banana Laffy Taffy. The cold foam was thick, smooth and velvety. As a banana skeptic, I enjoyed it on the top of each drink.

I started with the Banana Puddin’ Cloud Latte, the purest banana drink on the menu, which includes both the cold foam and syrup. Upon my first sip, I was pleasantly surprised that the banana taste wasn’t too strong or sweet — it blended smoothly into the milky latte, no more artificial-tasting than any other flavored coffee. However, the more I drank, the stronger the banana flavor got (possibly from improper blending). While I couldn’t finish the entire cup, I’d recommend the drink to anyone who wants a banana-centric experience.

The other two drinks use only the cold foam, providing a gentler slide into the banana realm. Dunkin’s butter pecan flavor is my favorite syrup on the menu, so it’s no surprise that the Monkey Business Cloud Latte was my favorite drink of the three. The flavor reminded me of a banana sundae topped with peanuts, minus the chocolate syrup. The nuttiness of the butter pecan enhances the creaminess of the cold foam and vice versa — an overall success.

Meanwhile, the luscious Nutty Banana Latte was the richest drink of the bunch. While I couldn’t taste the hazelnut directly (the drink uses Dunkin’s unsweetened hazelnut flavor shots), I did detect a mild roasted undertone. The flavors of the drink all married well, though the intensity of the Dunkalatte made this one the least banana-y beverage. I’d recommend it to anyone who prefers banana as a supporting character in their drink rather than the lead.

How long will Dunkin’s banana menu be available?

The banana menu will be available for a limited time as part of Dunkin’s Spring 2026 menu. While there isn’t an official end date, we can expect it to leave before summer starts.

What else is on Dunkin’s spring menu?

Continuing the fruit theme, Dunkin’ is introducing Dunkin’ Zero, a sugar-free energy drink available in Blackberry Tangerine, Tropical Mango and Juicy Peach varieties. Meanwhile, the franchise’s refresher line is expanding with a Berry Acai flavor. Finally, Dunkin’ is adding Wedding Cake Munchkins to its menu: blueberry doughnut holes with festive sprinkles in honor of National Proposal Day on March 20.
