Noah Cappe soaks up the California sunshine while enjoying some wacky West Coast treats at the San Diego County Fair in Del Mar, Calif. While there, he witnesses the debut of some brand-new carnival eats, including the All-Chicken Taco, Mexican Funnel Cake, Octopus on a Stick and Unicorn Popcorn. Then he checks out the Southern-style treats including the Pork Pie, the Cubano Y'all and the Mint To Be Funnel Cake served at the Tennessee Valley Fair in Knoxville, Tenn.
To eat or not to eat? For Noah Cappe, there is no question! Noah heads to San Diego and hams it up at the Balboa Park December Nights festival. The day starts off right with a breakfast Belgian waffle called the Ham I Am, and then it's a showdown between the East Coast Lobstah Taco and homegrown Cali Spicy Kaprao Burger. Then Noah heads north to Antioch, Calif., for the Contra Costa County Fair, where Mexican-American specialties take top prize.
Guy Fieri heads out for some great places viewers asked him to visit. In Okarche, Okla., a family restaurant serving fried chicken the exact same way for more than 40 years, dozens of you wrote in about that one; a viewer's favorite in downtown Los Angeles, a Mexican joint doing 500 handmade tamales a day; and a favorite suggested by viewers in Houston, a deli in a strip mall making corned beef and kreplach like they do back in New York.
