You Can Now Buy Candy Corn Perfume
Douse yourself in the scent of the most divisive Halloween candy.
Every Halloween, we circle back to the same debate — candy corn: disgusting or delicious? The tri-colored, corn-shaped treat is extremely divisive, even inspiring at New Yorker cartoon in 2020. And to stir up even more controversy, the candy brand Brach’s is releasing a candy corn perfume, so fans can smell like their favorite Halloween treat all season long.
What is the Ode to Candy Corn fragrance?
Ode to Candy Corn is a new limited-edition fragrance made by popular candy corn brand Brach’s. According to a press release shared with Food Network, the fragrance is “a decadent eau de parfum that smells just like the iconic treat tastes” with “notes of creamy vanilla, spun sugar and honey.” It marks the first time Brach’s has released a fragrance.
“With Ode to Candy Corn, we’ve transformed the unmistakable flavor of Brach’s Classic Candy Corn into a wearable fragrance that truly captures the sweetness, warmth and nostalgia that makes this time of year so special,” said Kelsey Perser, Director of Brach’s and Seasonal Marketing at Ferrara Candy Company.
How can you get the Ode to Candy Corn fragrance?
The eau de parfum will be available to purchase at candycornseason.com. The bottles will first drop on September 22 at 7 p.m. ET, timed with the first day of fall. The second drop will be at the same time on October 1. Each bottle is 1.7 ounces, priced at $22.
How can you buy Brach’s candy?
If you prefer your candy in food form, Brach’s is also releasing a brand new Mellowcreme Spooky Graveyard candy pack. The mix features ghost, bat, tombstone and skull-shaped candies in caramel corn, cotton candy, marshmallow, and green apple flavors. You'll be able to find it this season, along with Brach’s Classic Candy Corn, in-store or online, both retailing at $2.99.
