Giddy up and tally ho! Host Noah Cappe is off to Rodeo Austin, one of Texas' premiere rodeo events! The vendors have to feed hundreds of thousands of hungry fairgoers, and their delectable midway meals do not disappoint. Noah stars the day off right with the Bacon Breakfast Fries before digging into the Surf and Turf-tato -- a steak and seafood loaded baked potato -- an Etouffee Parfait that layers sumptuous Cajun delights, and the Popcorn Frankendog -- a classic corn dog with an amped up popcorn-coated batter. Later, Noah heads to California for a pair of wildly different events! First up, the bright Balboa Park December Nights Festival in San Diego features Kenyan-inspired Rafikiz Fries and perfectly hued Pink Lady Dumplings. Then in Cathedral City, Noah hits up the Taste of Jalisco, a Mexican-inspired festival, where he samples the Sweet Potato Tornado -- a modern carnival classic.
Brunch addict Bobby Flay is cooking his favorite meal with his good friends Damaris Phillips and Alex Guarnaschelli. They start by discussing what makes a great brunch while enjoying Tequila Grapefruit Martinis, and then they add their brunch favorites to the menu, beginning with Bobby's classic Steak and Eggs. Alex brings some freshness with Beets and Smoked Salmon, while Damaris has savory covered with her Country Ham Smashed Potato Home Fries. They wrap up on a sweet note with Damaris' Bourbon Cherry Toaster Tart Pie.
Guy Fieri and his friends are rooting out the root vegetables. Eric Greenspan pours a colorful Carrot Ginger Mule before stirring up some Potato Soup with Bacon Cheddar Bread Pudding and a Fried Egg. Elizabeth Falkner is digging the scene with her Whole Carrot Salad and parsing out some Parsnip Hazelnut Cake with Praline Cremeux. Christian Petroni offers up some Maple Roasted Sweet Potatoes with Yogurt and Horseradish, and he brightens up the place with Sunchokes Bravas with Roasted Peppers and Lemon Aioli. Justin Warner serves a souped-up Root-Centric Noodle Bowl and Yucca Fries with Chamoy Mayo.
Instead of a killer dinner, Guy Fieri invites his chef friends to make finger foods, hors d'oeuvres and appetizers for cocktail hour at the ranch. Antonia Lofaso prepares cones of tender skirt steak with a chimichurri sauce and potato frites, and for dessert, she fries up crispy, sugar-coated mini churros. Carl Ruiz makes crunchy crab croquettes and mushrooms stuffed with sweet and spicy plantains and chorizo. Aaron May serves up a decadent mix of caviar and creme fraiche on a South American arepa, a simple but delicious combination of corn and shrimp and his own version of a mule with lemon-ginger kombucha and vodka. Finally, Justin Warner makes cheesy, chewy Brazilian Pao de Queijo, roasts crispy duck breast for crostini and mixes up an extra-strong Rye Manhattan.
