Bibimbap is a Korean rice dish, classically served in a hot stone bowl so the rice gets a nice crust. In her version, Molly sears the rice to give it that feel. She makes bibimbap at least once a week since it’s so easy to top rice with ingredients and some gochujang and make it crave-able. This version has sweet and salty steak, kimchi, carrots, sunny side egg and gochujang sauce. It’s a colorful bowl of comforting goodness.

Molly first made these Brussels sprouts for Nick’s parents when Molly and Nick first started dating. They were a smashing success because Roger, Nick’s father, ate all the Brussels sprouts and he had never liked Brussels sprouts before.

These days, broccoli is Molly’s go-to vegetable because she has the highest success rate of getting her daughters Bernie and Ira to eat it. This version is broiled to get it extra crispy. With the spicy everything seasoning and tangy yogurt sauce, this dish is a stunner!

One of the most underrated moves in the bun world, in my opinion, is when steamed buns are then crisped up in a little oil so they get a fried outer layer. The texture of the soft steamed bun with the crispy fried exterior is next level! These buns are both steamed and fried and they have a veggie filling that explodes with flavor. What does it for me is the Thai bird chili and fresh basil, so they're spicy and fresh and everything in between.

This salad is inspired by one of the best bites of food I've ever had, the crispy rice salad at Hai Hai, an amazing Vietnamese restaurant in Minneapolis. It's got, like, four different layers of crunch and a dressing that's spicy, sweet, salty, and bright. I never knew I could love a salad this much!
