Guy Fieri and his family hit the islands, and they're ready to dive into Hawaiian adventure, culture and cuisine. The journey begins on Maui with a traditional blessing. Then, Lori and Ryder dive into scuba certification so the whole family can head underwater to get up close and personal with sea turtles, reef sharks and so much more. A tour of a pineapple farm ends with a unique vodka chaser, and of course they indulge in poke, shave ice and wild game before meeting up with a couple Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives favorites to see what they've been cooking.
Guy Fieri and his family are soaking in all Maui has to offer, like early morning deep-sea fishing, where they reel in fresh catch and cook an off-the-hook feast with the help of some DDD buddies. They also do some clay shooting inside an old volcano, catch waves with surfing legends and eat elk burgers straight from the ranch where the animals were raised. Plus, family and friends gather for a real-deal luau on a local farm, complete with an underground pig roast, poi and lei-making and an unforgettable celebration.
The Fieri family's Hawaiian adventure continues as they hang with musician Mick Fleetwood at his Maui restaurant and Guy cooks up Mick's favorites. Then, they discover mind-blowing ways to use coconuts before hopping over to the Big Island, where they meet up with an old DDD friend at his new location. Guy, Hunter and Jules explore the secrets of salt harvesting, abalone cultivation and traditional wild boar hunting. Plus, things get extreme when they dive after dark for a gotta-see-it-to-believe-it manta ray extravaganza.
Guy Fieri and his family's time on the Big Island is coming to an end, and there's no rest for the weary -- at least not when there's camp-cooking, epic farm-touring and old-school prawn-catching to do. They also head back out into the ocean -- without tanks this time -- to try their luck at spearfishing. Then, it's off to Oahu, where Guy, Hunter and Jules get inked the traditional, hand-tapped, Polynesian way. They dig into one of Guy's favorite meals at a bowling alley, and the family joins forces at Pearl Harbor to cook a Mexican lunch for hundreds of troops as a big "mahalo" for their service. The adventure is capped off with a surprise submarine tour for Guy's Navy vet dad.
