Our Best Thanksgiving Cupcake Ideas

While there's so much to love about a buffet of autumnal treats, sometimes the Thanksgiving dessert spread can be a little bit predictable (we're looking at you, pumpkin pie). That's why we like to add a few hand-held treats (like cupcakes) to the spread. The perfect size for one — and topped with fluffy whorls of frosting — there's truly nothing better than a homemade cupcake. That's why we've rounded up our favorites for Turkey Day.

This time of year, plain, old vanilla just won't do. We recommend leaning into seasonal fall flavors (like pumpkin, apple and sweet potato), along with indulgent add-ins that are right at home at a Thanksgiving feast (think buttery pecans or rich brown sugar). Finish with a festive flourish and you've got a themed treat that's even better than the turkey and sides (although we've got plenty of fun ideas that look just like the turkey and sides, too!).
