On August 23, Oneya Johnson posted the first TikTok video to a pseudo-personality account named @angryreactions, in which he screams positive commentary while watching user @bobbysrey's cake decorating video. By August 24, just 24 hours later, he attracted more than a million followers.

In the viral reaction video, when 16-year-old baker Sreya asks her followers, “Hey, guys. Here’s another cake decorating video… Can y’all, like, not be mean to me?” To which Oneya fervently defends her, “Who bein’ mean to you? WHO?”

As Sreya frosts her beautiful ombré-orange cake, Oneya asserts, “That cake look good!” And continues to aggressively praise her, screaming and nodding, “Good job! Good job!” until complimenting the finished dessert with a very firm “GOR-GEOUS!”

The whole experience is alarming, hilarious and heartwarming all at once.

In an interview with BuzzFeed, Oneya shared his inspiration behind the account: “I basically took how the world sees me, and how I really am, and just matched it together. If I passed you on the street and I don’t say a word, I look like the angriest person in the world. But when you actually get to know me, I’m actually a really positive person.”

And before you ask, yes, Sreya has already caught wind of the intensely sweet reaction video, posting her own reaction video in response to Oneya's. “I am very comfortable with the energy we have created in the studio today, thank you angry react guy.”

Just days since the first video was posted, Oneya has garnered 2.4 million subscribers, and continues to spread positivity in an unexpected way.

Here’s to the cheerleading – albeit angry – that we could all use when baking a cake.
