Dropping kids off at college is exciting, but also emotionally challenging. Among your hopes and concerns for them is that they will eat. Meal plans are great, but when hunger hits during a late-night study session, your kid might need other options.
Nissin Foods, the company behind the Cup Noodles instant noodle brand, and Dash, a brand of small kitchen appliances that are popular on social media, have just teamed up to offer a good one: the Cup Noodles x Dash Dorm Survival Kit, a limited-edition dorm-friendly product bundle.
"Everything Dash makes is built for compact spaces and real life, and it doesn't get more real — or small — than a dorm room," Evan Dash, CEO of Dash’s parent company StoreBound, says in a news release. "Pairing up with Cup Noodles lets us show up for college students together, giving them the perfect dorm room survival kit that will be there for move-in day, finals week and every moment in between."

What is the Cup Noodles x Dash Dorm Survival Kit?
Packed in a college-themed box, the limited-edition bundle aims to provide everything a student needs for quick, easy breakfasts, dorm-room ramen and late-night hunger satisfaction in one compact kit. It is, the brands say, “a cheat sheet for campus cooking."
"For generations, Cup Noodles has been the go-to dorm room staple that college students know and love," Priscila Stanton, Nissin Foods’ senior vice president of marketing, says. "This collaboration with Dash lets us take that a step further, giving students the full setup they need to thrive and conquer the school year.”
What's included in the Cup Noodles x Dash Dorm Survival Kit?
The kit comes with the following items:
- Cup Noodles Cups: A six-pack of chicken-flavor Cup Noodles packaged in “exclusive college-themed sleeves” that celebrate “the chaos of dorm life.” The cups feature labels such as "Do Not Touch" and "If This Is Missing, Ask My Roommate” in order to “speak the language of every college student who's ever had to label their groceries, hide their ramen stash and pull all-nighters,” the brands say.
- Dash Insulated Electric Kettle: This 1.7-liter kettle features dual-walled vacuum insulation that keeps water hot for up to 8 hours; digital temperature control; an exterior that stays cool to the touch; a lid that guards against spills; a lever-controlled, drip-proof spout; and a built-in temperature probe — all to bring water to a boil quickly for tea, oatmeal and ramen.
- Dash Rapid Egg Cooker: This egg cooker lets you boil seven eggs in under 10 minutes (providing “up to 42g of protein in one batch”) and comes with a boiling tray, a poaching tray, an omelette bowl, a measuring cup and recipe guide. The dishwasher-safe non-electric accessories store compactly inside the cooker, which is nice for space-challenged dorm-room dwellers. Plus, the cooker has a “Precision Thermal Sensor” that helps keep cooking rookies from overcooking their eggs.
How can you get the Cup Noodles x Dash Dorm Survival Kit?
The Cup Noodles x Dash Dorm Survival Kit is available now on the Dash website and soon on the Dash TikTok Shop, while supplies last. The limited-edition bundle — a $135 value — is priced at $70. You don’t need a college degree in economics to see that’s a great deal.
