I Tried 4 of Crumbl’s Holiday Pies, and These Are The 2 I’ll Serve at Friendsgiving
The dessert chain is launching a special menu next week.

If your office Slack channels and family group chats are anything like ours, then you’ve probably been discussing your Thanksgiving dessert plans this week. If you don’t feel up to making your own, that might mean deciding where to buy a pie. One contender to add to the list? Crumbl. The dessert chain, known for its ever-changing weekly menus, is whipping up seven pies for the holiday — and we got a first taste.
What is Crumbl’s Thanksgiving menu?
Crumbl is offering seven pies for Thanksgiving. The menu includes a mix of new and returning flavors: Pumpkin Cream, French Silk, Cookies & Cream, Brookie, Raspberry Cream, Biscoff and Chocolate Peanut Butter ft. Oreo and Reese’s. The pies come in a Large (five-inch) size for sharing and a Mini (two-inch) size for a personal little treat.
“There’s something special about pie that brings people together,” Jason McGowan, co-founder and CEO of Crumbl, says in a press release. “It’s nostalgic, it’s comforting, and it always disappears first. We’re excited to share a taste of that tradition, the Crumbl way.”

How do Crumbl’s pies taste?
I got to try four of the pies ahead of next week’s launch. Here’s what I thought.
Pumpkin Cream (new): I expected to take one bite of this just to report on, but I ate a lot more than that and could have kept going. Crumbl really nails the texture of its cream pies. The filling is light and tangy, almost cheesecake-like but not dense. The crust is pretty sugary, but the filling balances it out. The pumpkin flavor is classic, but the cream base is a welcome twist.
Biscoff: A Crumbl spokesperson told me this was his favorite of the lineup, and it might be mine, too. It’s the sweetest and richest one I tried. The spiced flavor is cozy and festive, appropriate for a holiday feast, but it also brings something surprising to the table.
Raspberry Cream: This one fell flat for me. It was the flavor I was most excited to try, but it didn’t stack up to the Pumpkin Cream or Biscoff. It has the same light cream base as the Pumpkin but with a raspberry jam topping. I like the tartness of the jam. That brightness might be a good way to end a big meal, but compared to the others, it just didn’t feel like a holiday flavor to me.
French Silk: This was my least favorite. The texture wasn’t quite set, and it didn’t have the rich chocolate flavor I wanted from it. It does have a chocolate cookie crust, which adds a nice crunch.
Across the board, I’d note that the pies are very loose (I was spooning out scoops, not cutting out slices) and are shaped to have much more filling than crust.
The Crumbl pies can’t replace a slice of a homemade dessert, but I’m planning to bring both the Pumpkin Cream and Biscoff Pies to a Friendsgiving dinner. They’re cute, and they give a nod to holiday traditions while adding something new and fun.
When can you order the Thanksgiving pies?
All seven pies are available for preorder now on Crumbl’s website. You can schedule your order for pickup or delivery. The pies will be on the menu from November 24 through 26 (the day before Thanksgiving). The pricing starts at $6.28 for one Large pie and $12.16 for a three-pack of Mini pies.
