Thanksgiving 2025 is turning into a battle for the heart (and skinny wallet) of the budget-conscious shopper.

About two weeks ago, Aldi kicked off the competition by announcing its Thanksgiving feast — with turkey, stuffing and all the fixings — will serve 10 people for just $40.

That seemed like an unbeatable deal — until Walmart announced, one week later, that it would offer a similar “one-click” bundle, feeding 10 people for an even lower price. Its basket cost $39.92, the retail giant’s lowest Thanksgiving meal price to date.

Now, Lidl US is outdoing Walmart. Starting November 5 and extending through November 26, you can get a complete Thanksgiving dinner for 10 people for under $36 (not including taxes). That is, for the mathematically challenged, less than $3.60 per person. It is also nearly $10 less than the Thanksgiving feast Lidl offered last year — its lowest price yet.

“With grocery prices continuing to be a challenge for families, we understand how vital great value is this holiday season,” Joel Rampoldt, Lidl US CEO, says in a press release. “At Lidl US, we’re honored to help make Thanksgiving more accessible. We hope our bundle helps bring people together this year to enjoy a holiday feast that’s as delicious as it is affordable.”

What does Lidl’s Thanksgiving feast include?

Lidl says its deal will include “all your Thanksgiving favorites.” That means a whole turkey, priced at $0.25 per pound, for those with the MyLidl app. It also comes with everything you need to serve stuffing, gravy, rolls, mac and cheese, sweet potato casserole, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole and pumpkin pie.

This year’s Thanksgiving meal includes:

  • Shady Brook Farms Frozen Whole Turkey (14 pounds)
  • 100-Percent Pure Pumpkin by Lidl
  • Fresh Yellow Onions (three pounds)
  • Fresh Pure Harvest Russet Potatoes (five pounds)
  • Fresh Pure Harvest Celery
  • Chicken Broth by Lidl
  • Cream of Mushroom Condensed Soup by Lidl (two)
  • Cut Green Beans by Lidl (two)
  • Evaporated Milk by Lidl
  • Fresh Sweet Potatoes (three pounds)
  • French’s French Fried Onions
  • Original Whipped Topping by Lidl
  • Brown Gravy Mix by Lidl (two)
  • Jellied Cranberry Sauce by Lidl (two)

How can you get Lidl’s Thanksgiving meal?

Rather than a one-click deal, all of Lidl’s Thanksgiving meal deal elements are sold separately in stores “so shoppers can build their own feast based on their hosting needs.” Lidl notes that the availability of the sale prices “may vary by location.”
