What is the new Sweetgreen Harvest Bowl deal?
Starting Monday, December 8, SG Rewards members (basically anyone with an account) can pay a little less than usual. The chain is launching its ’Tis the Seasoned $10 Harvest Bowl with Blackened Chicken — which, as the name implies, is a Harvest Bowl for just ten bucks.
According to an announcement from Sweetgreen, “the limited-time bowl pairs smoky blackened chicken with fresh greens, hearty grains, and crisp, warming accents, staying true to Sweetgreen’s commitment to menu items crafted daily from real, whole ingredients.” More specifically, the bowl, which boasts 37 grams of protein, contains antibiotic-free blackened chicken, roasted sweet potatoes, goat cheese, apples, roasted almonds, wild rice, organic shredded kale and a balsamic vinaigrette.
“The ’Tis the Seasoned $10 Harvest Bowl with Blackened Chicken brings together the thoughtful preparation, ingredient integrity, and real nourishment guests associate with Sweetgreen,” Zipporah Allen, Chief Commercial Officer at Sweetgreen, said. “The Harvest Bowl is our most iconic and craveable bowl. We are thrilled to bring this special edition at a great value to our customers during this festive season.”
Sweetgreen says it has sold over 36 million Harvest Bowls since the item launched in 2008. The company also says the average bowl price nationwide sits between $12-$14, so the limited-edition $10 bowl marks a significant savings and targets both the seasonal trend toward comfort food as well as current economic factors favoring value.
