Sam’s Club’s Pre-Cooked Thanksgiving Meal Is a Steal … and It Can Be Delivered

The complete meal includes eight prepared Thanksgiving dishes – all of which can be ready to serve in under two hours – and is a bargain at less than $100. The holiday traditions include Member’s Mark hickory-smoked turkey, Yukon Gold mashed potatoes, brussels sprouts, sweet potato mash, macaroni and cheese, cranberry crunch chicken salad, two dozen yeast dinner rolls and a 12-inch pumpkin pie.
Busy hosts can enjoy the convenience of skipping Sam’s Club's bustling checkout lines and purchase the Thanksgiving meal directly on the store’s Scan & Go app. As an added bonus, they can save yet another step by having it delivered to their home in less than two hours after placing the order.
In a statement posted to Walmart.com, Myron Frazier, the Senior Vice President of Member’s Mark, recognizes the needs of its members and acknowledges shoppers want to take advantage of deals that don’t compromise on quality. He specifically cites millennial and Gen Z shoppers, who he says make up more than a quarter of the Sam's Club member base.
“These smart, savvy shoppers always seem to have an eye toward style on a budget,” the statement reads. “They can quickly compare prices and share highlights of their gatherings on social media, and they’re looking for brands that reflect their lifestyle and values.”
Frazier goes on to explain that with Member’s Mark’s focus on quality, value and convenience, Sam’s Club members can bask in the joys of hosting during the holidays, over the less desirable kitchen time.
