Barilla's Adorable Heart-Shaped Pasta Is Back in Time for Valentine’s Day
And now it's easier to buy than ever.

If pasta is your love language, your Valentine’s Day dinner plans just got sorted. Barilla is bringing back its adorable heart-shaped pasta, Barilla Love, just in time for love’s big day — but only for a limited time.
And this year, Barilla Love will be available in Canada as well. Because love knows no bounds, obviously.
What is Barilla Love?
Inspired by the shape of Mezzi Rigatoni pasta, which is part of Barilla’s regular panoply of pasta shapes, Barilla Love is heart-shaped, yet also culinarily functional; it features ridges to help the pasta hold sauce.
Made using the same recipe as Barilla’s other classic pastas, which the brand says cook “to perfect al-dente taste and texture every time,” limited-edition Barilla Love was first introduced via a sweepstakes in the run-up to Valentine’s Day 2023. It was then brought back in time for Valentine’s Day 2024 with broader availability and then again ahead of Valentine’s Day 2025 as well. So this marks the fourth year pasta aficionados can celebrate romance, friendship or family with their favorite food.
When Barilla Love was first introduced in January 2023, Melissa Tendick, now president of Barilla America, said the “charming shape” was a way for pasta fans to “celebrate their love for one another and their love of pasta.”
“There is no better way to show you care than through cooking,” she added.
The brand itself put it this way: “Nothing says ‘I love you’ like a delicious bowl of pasta!”
Hard to argue with that.
How can you get your hands on Barilla Love?
Barilla’s limited-edition heart-shaped pasta is available in the U.S. now through February, while supplies last, on Amazon and at select retailers including Walmart and Shoprite. It will also be available in Canada.
