Which Restaurants Are Open On Christmas Day?

Maybe you want to go out for a festive breakfast on Christmas morning or just need a caffeine fix on the way to grandma’s house. Perhaps you suffered a full-fledged kitchen disaster and find yourself searching for a last-minute dinner reservation after the loss of your holiday ham. Whatever the reason, it’s comforting to know that some of our favorite restaurants are just a car ride away when we need them most.
So sit back, relax and order up whatever you’re craving — whether it’s a quick taco or an Italian feast —at these popular chains.

Applebee’s: Get in the spirit with a $5 top shelf Sleigh Bell Sip garnished with a gummy wreath. Some locations will be open on Christmas Day — be sure to check your store’s hours before heading over.
Arby’s: In the mood for a roast beef sandwich but don’t want to cook? Many Arby’s locations stay open for Christmas.
Boston Market: Many locations will be open on Christmas day, offering individual meals and feasts for three with hand-carved ham, turkey breast, rotisserie chicken and sides like mac and cheese and vegetable stuffing. You can also arrange catering or order heat and serve meals.
Buffalo Wild Wings: Pass around an untraditional appetizer of buffalo wings. Store hours vary by location.
Del Taco: Craving guacamole on Christmas? Hours of operation will vary, but many Del Taco locations will be open or dine-in, take-out and delivery.
Denny’s: This beloved chain is famous for being open 24/7 and Christmas is no exception.
Domino’s Pizza: If you need some pizza to tide you over until dinner, give Domino’s a call. Some stores will be open on Christmas.
Dunkin: Start off Christmas Day right with a box of fresh doughnuts. Store hours vary by location.
Fogo de Chao: Is anything more festive than a barbecued meat buffet? All Fogo de Chao restaurants will be open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Christmas.
Perkins Restaurant & Bakery: For a homestyle meal without the work, visit Perkins for turkey dinners and whole pies, including caramel apple, pumpkin, pecan and peanut butter silk.
Romano’s Macaroni Grill: To celebrate Christmas Italian style, head to Romano’s Macaroni Grill — open 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Christmas Day — where they’ll be serving their menu full of Italian classics like calamari, chicken parmesan and lasagna bolognese. Reservations are available now.
Ruth’s Chris Steak House: This festive favorite is already accepting reservations for Christmas Day and will be offering takeout meals for those celebrating at home. Fill up on surf and turf, fine wine and seasonal offerings.
Shoney’s: Starting at 11 a.m., stop by Shoney’s for an all-you-can-eat Christmas Day Feast of slow-roasted turkey, sliced ham, roast beef with mushrooms plus plenty of sides.
Starbucks: Want to grab an eggnog latte on the way to grandma’s house? Hours vary by location, but most stores will be open on Christmas.
Waffle House: Perhaps the only restaurant chain with a song about people celebrating the holidays there, we can confirm that Waffle House will be open for Christmas.
