A rainy summer day is bad enough, but add in some cooped-up kids? That’s enough to make us go stir crazy. Don’t panic – Food Network Kitchen’s Kelly Senyei has a great idea for keeping kids busy on a rainy day. Indoor s’mores! Yep, you read that right. S’mores are the quintessential summer snack and fantastic way to get the little ones involved in making their own treat. Bring the campfire inside and make s’mores in the comfort of your own kitchen.

In Kelly’s Food Network Kitchen Indoor S’mores 2 Ways class, she shows us two fun and funky ways to enjoy s’mores inside, and they’re both super simple. To start, Kelly walks us through the easiest Peanut Butter Cup S’mores Dip that can be arranged in a nonstick cake pan or a cast iron skillet, then popped straight in the oven. Although the technique might be different than the campfire version, the core ingredients are the same; make sure to stock up on graham crackers, chocolate bars or peanut butter cups, and marshmallows. This recipe is particularly fun for kids, so make sure to let them arrange the chocolate and marshmallows in the pan.

Next up, Kelly shows a fun way to riff off the classic version with a berry s’more! All you need is a few smashed berries or some berry jam to make a fruity version of this summer treat. Your kids will be delighted at the combination of tart raspberries and sweet chocolate. You can even let them get their hands dirty by mashing up some berries with a spoon.
