7 New Innovative Kitchen Products Worth Checking Out in 2026
See what kitchen appliances, cooking gadgets and meal-prep tech caught our attention at this year's CES tradeshow.
The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) is the biggest tech event worldwide, with nearly 150,000 attendees, including people in the tech industry, brand reps and journalists. Held in Las Vegas, Nevada, each year in January, the tradeshow debuts new launches and prototypes from relatively unknown startups, up-and-coming manufacturers and household names.
Many of this year's items focused on AI (of course), smart automation and robotics. You might be surprised by how many kitchen and food-related products that included.
Here's what stood out to us at CES 2026, from cooking and meal-planning products to innovations for hosting and even feeding your pets.
Barsys's CES booth amassed quite the crowd — perhaps partly because the reps were serving alcohol, but undoubtedly also because of the elegant product they were demoing.
The Barsys 360 is a supremely high-tech cocktail maker that looks like something out of Star Trek. You pour spirits and mixers of your choice into the top of the circular contraption and then have it whip up a personalized drink. It can make any classic cocktail recipe, plus more creative concoctions and customized beverages based on your unique tastes.
From the impressive technology and cutting-edge innovation to the ultra-sleek appearance, you can count on this product to not only wow your party guests but also be a sheer delight to use.
Emerson showcased several small kitchen appliances at CES. One that caught our eye was the SmartVoice Air Fryer, a voice-activated cooking vessel. It has over 1,000 commands for cooking modes and settings, but unlike most other smart devices, there's no mobile app component or account setup required. It doesn't connect to WiFi, track your data, or call for a paid membership. All you have to do is say, "Hey, air fryer…" followed by a command.
Another cool feature is that this air fryer detects upwards of 100 different types of foods (like chicken, fries, pizza, salmon, etc.) and automatically sets the ideal temperature and time to cook them.
Samsung has, once again, leveled up the smart fridge with its Bespoke AI Flex. This state-of-the-art refrigerator uses the manufacturer's AI Vision Inside technology to "see" different foods and note when they're added or removed.
The exterior touchscreen is a whopping 32 inches. This feature integrates with the AI Vision to help you create grocery lists and know when to restock items. It can also make recommendations for how to use your fridge more efficiently, like where to store specific food items and when to use them before they go bad.
Another feature CES attendees could try out was the voice-commanded door-opening feature. There's also a touch sensor on the outside that'll open without pulling a handle. And if you forget to close the fridge or keep it open while unloading groceries, it'll still keep the air inside cold.
Cozyla demoed its 32-inch Calendar+ Go at the tradeshow. This generously sized touchscreen device is pitched as an all-in-one family hub. The brand rep explained that you can place it in the kitchen or another common area and use the interface to compile your whole family's schedule and create chore charts.
On the food front, it keeps track of what's in your pantry and fridge, including what you may need to restock and what's about to expire. It can generate grocery shopping lists, plan meals for the week, and suggest recipes based on what you already have on hand. You can also save recipes from any website or cooking tutorial videos, all in one place, and then browse your personal library when you need inspiration for what to cook.
We also appreciate that the screen can be oriented horizontally for use as a smart TV. With a built-in battery and a wheeled stand, you can move it around and place it anywhere in your home.
The Wan AIChef Ultra made its debut at CES 2026. It uses the company's Zhurong Cooking Model, which calls on AI to power an intelligent, innovative, personalized home cooking experience.
This box-shaped product looks a lot like a large microwave — but its capabilities are light-years ahead. It's designed to automate cooking with as little input from the user as possible while still customizing meals to your personal tastes and dietary needs.
The AIChef Ultra can plan meals for you, create a grocery shopping list, recommend recipes based on your preferences, recognize ingredients and tweak the meals it cooks so they're just how you like them.
This product is so new that it's still waiting on equipment authorization from the FCC (Federal Communications Commission). Until then, the brand says you might need a voltage converter to use it in the U.S.
Euhomy Ice Leopard
Euhomy had a handful of ice makers on display at CES. One that piqued our interest was the Ice Leopard, a compact vessel that turns water into ice in just five minutes. According to the brand, this is the fastest on the market.
The insulated ice bucket is removable and promises to prevent ice from melting for up to four hours. Or you can keep it on the plugged-in base and fetch ice anytime, as needed.
We like the small footprint of this kitchen appliance. It takes up minimal countertop space (about as much as your average single-serve coffee maker) and has a polished, modern appearance.
This product will be available to purchase in May 2026.
Petkit Yumshare Daily Feast
Petkit showed the Yumshare Daily Feast at the convention. The brand calls this "the world's first robotic pet chef" and the "first fully automatic AI wet food feeder." It's essentially an automatic pet feeder, but unlike virtually all others that dispense dry food, it serves up wet meals.
Petkit references research that says cats thrive on a high-moisture diet, specifically supporting urinary health and preventing kidney stones.
This pet feeder has an automatic bag-opening feature that hygienically dispenses fresh wet food and uses UV sterilization to keep it from spoiling too soon. It promises precise portion sizes on a consistent feeding schedule, whether you're at home or away. There's also an integrated camera that tracks your pet's eating activity and sends you insights in real time.
This product will be available to buy in spring 2026.
